CALL FOR PAPERS
INFOS 2008
The 6th
International Conference on Informatics and Systems
27 – 29 March, 2008
Special Track
On
Networks
and Information Security
Computer and communications technology, systems and networks have progressed radically over the last few decades. However, emerging applications and services (such as distributed surveillance, science computing, grid computing, on-line gaming, and storage area) are reaching the limits of the capability of existing networks. Innovative solutions are needed to enable novel network infrastructures that not only boast cheaper overall network cost per units of bandwidth, efficient routing and secure communication, but also provide support for new service types with various bandwidth and Quality of Service (QoS) requirements.
The proposed track targets academic and industrial research activities that are focused on recent advances in enabling technologies, architectures, and services delivered by various wired and wireless networks. The track will address such topics as the design of novel network architectures including wireless, mobile, sensor, and optical networks, as well as the routing and security of unicast and multicast traffic in various networks. In addition, the track will focus on innovative approaches that enhance the robustness of network infrastructures to handle a wide range of possible faults and attacks.
